of Northville, died Dec.
30, 2018.
She is survived by
her beloved husband,
Herbert Miller; sons

Richard and Robin Goldsmith, Barry

grandchildren, Zachary Goldsmith,
Mitchell Goldsmith, Robin (Jeffrey)
Dwoskin, Brian (Jodie) Dressler,
Jonathan Goldsmith, Julie Goldsmith;
great-grandchildren, Emma, Sophie,
Leia and McKenna; many other loving
family members and friends.
Mrs. Miller was the sister of the late
Richard Gorney; mother-in-law of
the late Steven Dressler and the late
Martin Maslowe.
Interment was held at Oakview
Cemetery in Royal Oak. Contributions

BENNETT NATHAN,
89, of Birmingham, died

He is survived by his
wife of 62 years, Sondra

Mr. Nathan was the loving brother

REGINE
ROSENBAUM, 85, of
Oak Park, died in her
home on Dec. 29, 2018.
Born in Brussels,
Belgium, Reggie sur-
vived the Holocaust as
a hidden child in sever-
al Catholic orphanages.
She immigrated with
her parents, Hela and
Kiva Gilbert, to the U.S.
in 1950 and lived in
Detroit. There she met
Manuel Rosenbaum, who wooed her
and won her love.
All who knew Reggie appreciated
her sassy sense of humor, her intelli-
gence and her love of family.
Mrs. Rosenbaum is survived by her
husband of 63 years, Manny; sons,
Michael (Janet), Harold and Andrew
(Sue); grandchildren, Sarah and
Joseph.
Interment was held at Hebrew
Memorial Park. Contributions may

be made to Karmanos Cancer Center
in Detroit or Rogel Cancer Center
at the University of Michigan, Ann
Arbor. Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.

BEV MORRIS
ROSENTHAL, 82, of
Oak Park, died Dec. 25,
2018.
She was born on
Feb. 29, 1936. She
enjoyed playing tennis
and water-skiing. “She water-skied
into her late 70s,” husband Jerry
Rosenthal said.
Mrs. Rosenthal loved animals and
always put the needs of others first.
“She had a heart of gold,” daughter
Lynn Rosenthal said.
She made the ordinary beautiful,
turning bland rocks into charming
mementos by painting animal faces
on them and giving them to family.
She was the beloved wife of Jerry
Rosenthal; dear mother of Mark,
Lynn (George Hunter) and Debra
(Frank) Cummings; loving grand-
mother of Jessica Rosenthal and
James Rosenthal; loving daughter of
the late Harry Morris and the late
Peggy Morris; caring and beloved sis-
ter-in-law of Herb (late Barbara)
Goodwin, Joyce (the late Bill) Nadler,
Burt (Ann) Rosenthal; beloved sister
of the late Shirley Morris; many niec-
es and nephews and a world full of
family and friends.
