Rachel Helen Lubin, daughter of
Stephane and David Lubin and sister

Daniel, will
celebrate her
bat mitzvah
at Temple
Israel as she
reads from the
Torah Saturday,
Oct. 7. Her
Lubin
proud grand-
parents are Gerald Massey, Ann
Massey and Irene Lubin. She is also
the grandchild of the late Jerome
Lubin.
Rachel is an eighth-grade stu-
dent at Dunckel Middle School in
Farmington Hills. She had a garage
sale to raise funds for the Michigan
Humane Society and orphans in
Ghana. She felt this was a meaning-
ful mitzvah project.

Emily Nicole Stillman will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
Saturday, Oct. 7, at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. She is the daughter
of Alicia and Michael Stillman, the
sister of Karly
and Zachary
and the grand-
daughter of
Sherrill and
Bernard Lewis
and Rochelle
and Marshall
Stillman.
She
Stillman
is the great-
granddaughter of Beatrice Stillman.
Emily is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
Her most meaningful mitzvah
project was creating the Emily
Nicole Stillman Bat Mitzvah Garden
through the Jewish National Fund.

Eli attends Eton Academy in
Birmingham. As part of his bar
mitzvah experience, Eli donated time
and effort to a local charity
