Her Lubin proud grand- parents are Gerald Massey, Ann Massey and Irene Lubin. She is also the grandchild of the late Jerome Lubin. Rachel is an eighth-grade stu- dent at Dunckel Middle School in Farmington Hills. She had a garage sale to raise funds for the Michigan Humane Society and orphans in Ghana. She felt this was a meaning- ful mitzvah project. Emily Nicole Stillman will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah Saturday, Oct. 7, at Adat Shalom Synagogue. She is the daughter of Alicia and Michael Stillman, the sister of Karly and Zachary and the grand- daughter of Sherrill and Bernard Lewis and Rochelle and Marshall Stillman. She Stillman is the great- granddaughter of Beatrice Stillman. Emily is a student at West Hills Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. Her most meaningful mitzvah project was creating the Emily Nicole Stillman Bat Mitzvah Garden through the Jewish National Fund. Eli Benjamin Yaker, togeth- er with parents Jennifer and Brad Yaker of Franklin and broth- ers Zachary Yaker and Jesse, will celebrate his bar mitzvah at Minchah services on Saturday, Oct. 7, at Congregation Beth Shalom. Proud grandpar- ents are Pat and Ted Wasson of Bloomfield Hills and Elaine and Barry Yaker of Birmingham. Eli attends Eton Academy in Birmingham.
