the Torah as a bar mitzvah Saturday,
Oct. 7, at
Temple Beth
El. He is the
son of Suzette
and Norton
Chaiken and
4 the brother of
Natalie. Proud
grandmother is
Chaiken
Helen Long of
Starkville, Miss. He is also the grand-
son of the late Isadore and Frances
Chaiken of Southfield and William
Long of Starkville.
Chad is an eighth-grader at
Dunckel Middle School in
Farmington Hills. His most meaning-
ful mitzvah project was volunteering
this summer at Camp Beth El in
Bloomfield Hills.

Jory Finkelberg will read from the
Torah as he celebrates his bar mitz-
vah on Saturday, Oct. 7, at Temple
Emanu El.
Proud parents
are Linda
and Harvey
Finkelberg.
He is also the
son of the
late Sharyn
Finkelberg.
Finkelberg
Beloved grand-
parents are Dovie and Issie Elman,
Howard-Finkelberg and the late
Shirley Finkelberg.
Jory is a student at Norup Middle
School in Oak Park. His most mean-
ingful mitzvah project was working
with TOPS (The Outreach Program
for Special Needs Soccer Players).

Michael Robert Kaye will cel-
ebrate his bar mitzvah as he reads
from the Torah at Temple Israel
on Saturday, Oct. 7. He is the son
of Bruce Kaye and Cindy Kaye and
the brother of
Andrew and
Jordan. Sharing
the simchah
will be his
grandparents
Barbara and
Marvin Kaye,
Marilyn and
Kaye
Wes Collins and
Mario Viscosi.
Michael is a student at Cranbrook
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
His most meaningful mitzvah project
was volunteering his time at Yad Ezra
in Berkley.
