GEORGE LAKSBERGER, 77, of
West Bloomfield, died May 5, 2005.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Sonia Laksberger; sons, Michael
David Laksberger of Pontiac, Gerald
Wayne Laksberger of Alameda,
Calif.; granddaughter, Symone
Laksberger. He was the dear father
of the late Raymond Miles
Laksberger.
Interment at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park Cemetery.

DAN A. MANASON, 95, of Santa
Barbara, Calif., formerly of Detroit,
died April 30, 2005. After graduat-
ing from the University of Michigan
Law School in 1931, at the age of
21, he practiced law for over 60
years. He specialized in representing
injured workers and was recognized
as the dean of the workers' compen-
sation bar in Michigan.
Mr. Manason served as an officer
in World War II, investigating
crimes in areas controlled by the
Allies. He was a founding member
and the first president of the Detroit
Tennis & Squash Club. He played
tennis three times a week until the
age of 91.
He is survived by his loving and
devoted wife of 50 years, Georgina;
son, Marc; daughter-in-law, Lynn;
grandson, Michael; sister, Ethel;
cousin, Paula Urbach. He was the
father of the late Michelle and John
Klein; brother of the late Louis and
Dorothy.

GALINA PAVLOV, 56, of West
Bloomfield, died May 6, 2005. She
was an aesthetician at Emile's Salon.
She is survived by daughters and a
son-in-law, Regina Pavlov of
Birmingham, Jennifer and Larry
Thurswell of Birmingham; brother
and sister-in-law, Michael and Maya
Kurhersky of West Bloomfield. She
was the beloved wife of the late
Alexander Pavlov.
