ARTHUR POLLACK, 83 of Boca
Raton, Fla., died April 29, 2005. He
was born in Detroit and served in
both the Army and the Navy during
World War II. He was a real estate
developer in the Detroit area and
president of Milwaukee Investment
Company.
Mr. Pollack was involved in
numerous charitable organizations,
including being a co-founder and
long-term president of the
Children's Leukemia Foundation, a
member of the board at the child
research center of Children's
Hospital and the Michigan
Community Blood Bank. He served
as a Boy Scout leader and on the
Jewish Committee for Scouting. He
was also a member of Temple Shir
Shalom, Tam O'Shanter and Broken
Sound.
Mr. Pollack is survived by his wife
of over 60 years, Shirley Pollack;
sons and daughters-in law Alan and
Elaine Pollack of Massachusetts,
Gary and Barbara Pollack of West
Bloomfield, Ron and Mimi Pollack
of Clearwater, Fla.; daughter, Gale
Pollack of Oldsmar, Fla.; grandchil-
dren, Lisa, Matthew and Beth
Pollack; Marla, Seth and Devon
Pollack; Nathan, Noah, Levi and
Lila Pollack; great-grandsons, Owen

and Jonah Pollack; sister, Selma
Winston. He was the brother of the
late David Pollack, the late Irene
Finkel and the late Leo Pollack.
Internment at Eternal Light
Cemetery in Boyton Beach, Fla.
