MANASON, 95, of Santa Barbara, Calif., formerly of Detroit, died April 30, 2005. After graduat- ing from the University of Michigan Law School in 1931, at the age of 21, he practiced law for over 60 years. He specialized in representing injured workers and was recognized as the dean of the workers' compen- sation bar in Michigan. Mr. Manason served as an officer in World War II, investigating crimes in areas controlled by the Allies. He was a founding member and the first president of the Detroit Tennis & Squash Club. He played tennis three times a week until the age of 91. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Georgina; son, Marc; daughter-in-law, Lynn; grandson, Michael; sister, Ethel; cousin, Paula Urbach. He was the father of the late Michelle and John Klein; brother of the late Louis and Dorothy.
