Sarah enjoy' danc-
ing, reading and trav-
el and attends Warner Middle School in
Farmington Hills. Her mitzvah projects
included volunteering with the elderly at
Danto Family Health Care Center and
babysitting at Temple Israel.

Samantha Beth Lewis will be called to

the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Friday,
March 2, at Temple Beth El. She is the
daughter of Rena and
Mark Lewis and sister
to Lauren. Proud
grandparents are Ruth
Rattner, Linda
Dresner, Liliane
Rattner and Mr. and
Mrs. Milford Lewis.
Samantha is an
honor student at
Derby Middle School in Birmingham.
She enjoys softball, swimming, skiing,
playing the flute and being with friends.
Samantha's mitzvah projects included
working with autistic children at Derby
Middle School and volunteering with
the seniors at the Fleischman Residence.

Ashley Luft Nathan will celebrate her

bat mitzvah during Havdalah services
on Saturday, March 3, at Temple Israel.
She is the daughter of Gail and Robert
Nathan and sister of Maxwell. Proud
grandparents are Beatrice and Dr.
Solomon Luft and Sondra and Bennett
Nathan as well as
great-grandmother
Shirley Luftschein.
Ashley attends
West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield
Hills; her interests
include basketball,
volleyball, soccer,
computers and music.
For her mitzvah projects, she donated
canned goods to and volunteered at Yad
Ezra and donated to the Susan B.
Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
