She enjoys softball, swimming, skiing, playing the flute and being with friends. Samantha's mitzvah projects included working with autistic children at Derby Middle School and volunteering with the seniors at the Fleischman Residence. Ashley Luft Nathan will celebrate her bat mitzvah during Havdalah services on Saturday, March 3, at Temple Israel. She is the daughter of Gail and Robert Nathan and sister of Maxwell.
