LILLIAN GLINTER HOLCOMB,

83, former Detroiter of Melbourne,
Fla., died dec. 10. She was a retired
banking clerk.
She is survived by her sons, Paul
Glinter of Melbourne, Allen Glinter of
Scottsdale, Ariz., Julius Glinter of
Milford; daughter, Dolores Greenfield
of Springfield, N.J.; eight grandchil-
dren; 13 great-grandchildren.

SAMUEL HURVITZ, 81, of Florida,

died Dec. 6. He was the owner of
Screen Printing, a World War II army
veteran, a life member of Shaarey Zedek
and avid stamp and coin collector; he
loved to play golf.
Mr. Hurvitz is survived by his sons
and daughter-in-law, Harvey Hurvitz
and Arthur and Trisha Hurvitz; grand-
children, Rachel and Larry Goff, Jared
Hurvitz, Jennifer, Julie, Benjamin and
Jeffrey Hurvitz; brother-in-law, Rae
Hurvitz. He was the beloved husband
of Sylvia Hurvitz of Delray Beach, Fla.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be direct-
ed to the Jewish Federation.

LEONARD LEMBERG, 75, of

Bloomfield Hills, died Dec. 13. He was
an attorney handling criminal, personal
injury and divorce cases. He was a 50-
year member of the Michigan Bar
Association.
Mr. Lemberg is survived by his wife,
Corrine Lemberg; son and daughter-in-
law, Steven and Barbara Lemberg of
Bloomfield Hills; daughter and son-in-
law, Lisa and Jerry Freeman of
Tennessee; grandchildren, Sam, Joey,
Tom and Anne Lemberg and brother-
in-law and sister-in-law, Sander and
Lucinda Faber. Interment at Clover
Hill Park Cemetery. Contributions may
be directed to Juvenile Diabetes.

SYLVIA MOORSTEIN, 80, of Oak

Park, died Dec. 17.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Barton and Gail
Moorstein of Darnestown, Md.; daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Debra and Daniel
Edwards of Bloomfield Township;
brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and
Jeanne Finstein of Wheeling, W.Va.; sis-
ter, Shirley Gaynor of Flint; grandchil-
dren, Jeremy Edwards, Jonathan
Edwards, Amelia Moorstein, Michael
Moorstein. Mrs. Moorstein was the

beloved wife of the late Harry
Moorstein.

died Dec. 11.

EDWARD SAKOLS, 72, of

Farmington Hills, died Dec. 15. She
was a teacher.
She is survived by her beloved
friend, Beatrice Kape of Farmington
Hills and the Kasle Family of Flint.
Interment in Toledo, Ohio.

PHILIP SCHONBERGER, 78, of

North Bay Village, Fla., died Dec. 12.
During World War II, he served as a
staff sergeant in the Marine Corps and
was awarded the Purple Heart.
In Florida, Mr. Schonberger was a
North Bay Village commissioner for
two years and served several terms as
president of the North Bay Village
Optimist Club, heading fund-raising
activities for kids born to drug-addict-
ed parents and collecting scholarship
money for the sick and underprivi-
leged. In the North Bay Village Lions
Club, he furthered the project helping
kids with eye problems attend summer
camp. One of his recent accomplish-
ments was getting approval for a new
boardwalk and park area at the city's
waterfront; the park will be dedicated
in his name. He was also a member of
Temple Beth El of North Bay Village.
Mr. Schonberger is survived by his
wife, Sylvia Schonberger; son and
daughter-in-law, Mark and Elaine
Schonberger of West Bloomfield;
daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and
Manny Cetner of West Bloomfield,
Lyn and Hollis Hendrickson of
Sugarland, Texas, Wendy and Mark
Bellon of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchil-
dren, Lenny Cetner, Aaron Cetner,
Michael Schonberger, Keith
Schonberger, Melissa Hendrickson,
Abigail Bellon, Rachel Bellon.
