BIRDIE BERNBAUM, 98, of Merritt
Island, Fla., died Dec. 15. She was an
executive in the field of wholesale maga-
zines.
She is survived by her sons and
daughter-in-law, Howard and Rhoda
Bernbaum; four grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred
Levinson. She was the beloved wife of
the late Sidney Bernbaum; loving moth-
er of the late Sheldon Bernbaum.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

MICHAEL BISTRITSKY, 102, of
West Bloomfield, died Dec. 14. He was
a music teacher at Cass Technical High
School and Mercy College.
He is survived by his son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Boris and Narelle Mishel of
Washington; grandchildren, Michael
and Tracey Mishel, Tatyana Mishel;
great-grandchild, Campbell Mishel; sis-
ter, Dorothy Sherman.

TEDDY BOORMAN JR., 74, of West
Bloomfield, died Dec. 16. He worked at
Borin Builder's Supply in maintenance.
Mr. Boorman is survived by his wife
of 47 years, Bernice Borin Boorman;
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ralph
and Phyllis Bonin, Jack and Belle Borin,
Betty Borin, Julia Borin. He was the
dear brother-in-law of the late Ben
Borin and the late Maurice Borin.

Bloomfield, died Dec. 13. He was the
owner of Disner Iron and Metal
Company.
He is survived by his sons and

grandchildren, Robert and Karen
Disner, Lisa and Mark Pinsky, Jonathan

MARION GORNBEIN, 82, of Delray
Beach, Fla., died Dec. 14. She was a
retired teacher. •
She is survived by her soul mare, Dr.

Livonia; grandchildren, Sam and Sheila
Zietz, David Zietz, Aaron Oblak; great-

died Dec. 14. He was an accountant
and a graduate of the University of
Detroit.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy

of California; grandchildren, Anthony
and Christopher Pichardo, Mark and
Jessica Goldman; sister, Ann Frost. He
was the dear brother of the late Eva

late Samuel Greisman and the late Ben
Greisman.

MORRIS "MOE" HOFFMAN, 70,
formerly of West Bloomfield of
Wellington, Fla., died Dec. 3. He
worked as a manufacturer's representa-
tive for men's apparel. He was a veteran
of the Korean War and served as a com-
mander of a Jewish war veterans' post.
He belonged to Gamma Kappa Chi fra-
ternity at Wayne State University.
He is survived by his beloved wife of
49 years, Marlene; children, Michael
and Diana Hoffman of Fort Worth, Jeff
and Sue Hoffman of Farming,ton Hills,
Elyse and Brain Kirschner of
Farmington Hills; grandchildren, Eric,
Alex, Ari, Joshua, Gabriel.
