CARL LAWRENCE RUBIN, 54, of
West Bloomfield, died Jan. 4. Mr.
Rubin was an attorney who graduat-
ed from Wayne State University Law
School. He was a former national
chairman and emeritus chairman of
the First Amendment Lawyers
Association.
Mr. Rubin is survived by his wife
of 32 years, Iris Rubin; son and
daughter-in-law, Allan and Sharyl
Rubin of Novi; daughter, Rebecca
Rubin of Keego Harbor; mother,
Betty Saulson of Boca Raton; sister,
Elaine Siver. He was the dear brother
of the late Steven Rubin.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

HARRY RUSKIN, 89, of
Farmington Hills, died Jan. 7. Mr.
Ruskin was an accountant and a
member of the Alpha Omega Parents
Club.
He is survived by his sons and
daughters-in-law, George and
Marilyn Ruskin of West Bloomfield,
Dr. William and Joyce Ruskin of
Commerce Township; grandchildren,
Dr. Les and Anna Ruskin, Michael
and Nichole Ruskin, Loren, Aaron
and Dana Ruskin, Gayle and Ronald
Roberts, Randi and Greg Szilagyi;
great-grandchildren, Cara and Haley
Roberts, Gabriella Ruskin, Andrew
and Alana Szilagyi; sisters and broth-
er-in-law, Eva Sternberg of Bronx,
N.Y., Sarah and Ben Rubenfaer of
Plantation, Fla.; brother, Morris
Ruskin of Farmington Hills; daugh-
ter-in-law, Maxine Flagg. Mr. Ruskin
was the beloved husband of the late
Anna Ruskin and the loving father of

Lovingly missed
January 17, 1991
of Los Angeles, California, who passed away on June 21, 1997. Formerly
from Oak Park, Michigan, Margie moved to Los Angeles in 1974 with
her husband Jack (who passed away in 1987). Margie is survived by her 3
children: Steven Eisenberg of Michigan; Suzanne Eisenberg and Ron
Eisenberg of California; her brother William Gibson of Kentucky and sis-
ter Marie Wright of Florida. Margie is also survived by 5 grandchildren
and 5 great-grandchildren. Margie's wisdom and humor had touched
everyone she knew. She was a very special person and good friend. Her
death leaves a huge gap in all our lives that words cannot describe.
