MAX STUART PALMER, 83, of
Farmington Hills, died Dec. 2. Mr.
Palmer was a teacher at Andover High
School and was referred to as "Mac
Daddy Chillin" by students and facul-
ty. Prior to teaching at Andover, Mr.
Palmer was an accountant at the State
Auditors General Office. He earned a
master's degree in teaching and a
degree in accounting. He also was an
active member of Congregation
Shaarey Zedek and its Chevra
Kadisha.
Mr. Palmer is survived by his wife
of 57 years, Gertrude Palmer; daugh-
ters, Louisa Marcus, Debora Palmer of
Los Angeles; granddaughter, Mara
Marcus; sister-in-law, Joyce Palmer
and companion, Nelson. He was the
dear brother of the late William
Palmer.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be

She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Sheila Levinson and Andy
Scully of Farmington Hills; son and
daughter-in-law, Stanley and Betty
Dishell of Farmington Hills; grand-
children, Sheldon Levinson, Mark and
Megan Levinson; great-grandchild,
Jordan Levinson. Mrs. Reichstein was
the beloved wife of the late Marshall
Reichstein and the late Louis Dishell;
the dear sister of the late Milton Moss.
Interment at Beth Abraham
