Mr. Palmer was a teacher at Andover High School and was referred to as "Mac Daddy Chillin" by students and facul- ty. Prior to teaching at Andover, Mr. Palmer was an accountant at the State Auditors General Office. He earned a master's degree in teaching and a degree in accounting. He also was an active member of Congregation Shaarey Zedek and its Chevra Kadisha. Mr. Palmer is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gertrude Palmer; daugh- ters, Louisa Marcus, Debora Palmer of Los Angeles; granddaughter, Mara Marcus; sister-in-law, Joyce Palmer and companion, Nelson. He was the dear brother of the late William Palmer. Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
