CHARLES HANSEN SELL-
ER, 56, of Westland, died Sept.
8. For 22 years, Mr. Seller was
a prosecuting attorney for
Wayne County. He attended
University of Michigan Law
School and was a member of
the Michigan Bar Association.
Mr. Seller was active with the
American Lung Association
and Stagecrafters.
He is survived by his son and
daughter-in-law, Jack and Lisa

ETHEL SILBER, 90, of
Southfield, died Sept. 3. Mrs.
Silber was a buyer of women's
apparel who worked for Paris
Dress Shop in Hamtramck,
Belle Jacobs on Livernois in De-
troit, opened Ethel Silber Fash-
ion Center in Ferndale and
used to "dress" the Supremes
for their concerts. She was also
a charter member of the Infant
Service Group and Hadassah.
Mrs. Silber is survived by her
son, Leonard of Farmington
Hills; daughter-in-law, Eileen
Bluestone of Southfield; daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Barbara
and Stanley Rubin of Boca Ra-

LAWRENCE SKLAR, 60, of
Farmington Hills, died Sept. 8.
Mr. Sklar was a recently re-
tired CPA. He was a former
partner of Sosin, Sklar, Leifer,
Rottman and Kingston in
Farmington Hills and was an
adviser and consultant to many
businesses. In 1957, Mr. Sklar
received his bachelor of arts in
business administration from
Wayne State University and
became a CPA in 1960. He was
a member and former board
member of Temple Kol Ami and
was very active with the Jewish
National Fund. Mr. Sklar was
also a past member of the
Southfield Zoning Board of Ap-
peals and was active with the
Jewish Ensemble Theatre.
He is survived by his wife of
39 years, Donna; son and
daughter-in-law, Stuart and
Donna of West Bloomfield;
daughters, Val of Studio City,
Calif., Karen of Farmington
Hills; grandchildren, Emily and
Alex; sister and brother-in-law,
Leona and Sidney Chafetz of
West Bloomfield; mother-in-
law, Esther Goldenberg. Mr.
Sklar was the dear son-in-law
of the late Norman Goldenberg.

ROSE SILVERSTEIN, 87,
formerly of Huntington Woods
of Ventura, Calif , died Sept. 1.
Mrs. Silverstein was a founding
member of Temple Emanu-El
and sang in the choirs of Work-
men's Circle and Temple
Emanu-El.
She is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, O.D. and
Dolores of Bloomfield Hills;
daughters and sons-in-law,
DAVID STERN, 83, of Troy,
died Sept. 6. Mr. Stern was a
purchasing agent for Pitts-
burgh Plate Glass. He was a
life member of Craftsman Oak
Park Lodge 591, the Crescent
Shrine Club and the Moslem
Temple.
He is survived by his step-
daughter and step-son-in-law,
Rayna and Richard Ravitz;
