LAWRENCE SKLAR, 60, of Farmington Hills, died Sept. 8. Mr. Sklar was a recently re- tired CPA. He was a former partner of Sosin, Sklar, Leifer, Rottman and Kingston in Farmington Hills and was an adviser and consultant to many businesses. In 1957, Mr. Sklar received his bachelor of arts in business administration from Wayne State University and became a CPA in 1960. He was a member and former board member of Temple Kol Ami and was very active with the Jewish National Fund. Mr. Sklar was also a past member of the Southfield Zoning Board of Ap- peals and was active with the Jewish Ensemble Theatre. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Donna; son and daughter-in-law, Stuart and Donna of West Bloomfield; daughters, Val of Studio City, Calif., Karen of Farmington Hills; grandchildren, Emily and Alex; sister and brother-in-law, Leona and Sidney Chafetz of West Bloomfield; mother-in- law, Esther Goldenberg.
