The League of Jewish
Women's Organizations has
applications available for its
45th annual Youth Awards for
high school seniors.
To qualify for the annual
award of $500, the applicant
must be a high school senior
with at least a 3.0 grade point
average, have a formal Jewish
education, be actively involv-
ed in the community and sub-
mit a one-page typed essay on
the subject: "A Jewish Role
Model To Emulate: Histori-
cal, Literary Or Political."
Once qualified, an applicant
will be interviewed by a panel
of judges.
The application and essay
must be received no later
than Jan. 6. For information,

and 8, called Teen
Connection.
The B.B.Y.0./JCC Teen Con-
nection will have a Chanukah
celebration 8-11 p.m. Dec. 15.
at the Maple-Drake Jewish
Community Center. A shuttle
bus from the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Building will leave at
7:30 p.m. and return at 11:30
p.m. Reservations must be
made for this service.
