Choose With Care

A difficult period facing most families is the decision to seek outside care
for a loved one. Choosing another. Entrusting a part of you to others.
You are looking for the best in care. The very best in staff. And the
warmth of home which stresses the continuation of life. The dignity of the
individual.
Our 26 years of experience can give that understanding.
Choose the best who care.

Anti-Semitic
Incidents Down
in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (JTA)
— Synagogues in the
Greater Philadelphia area
have reported a 30 percent
decrease in the number of
anti-Semitic incidents be-
tween 1981 and 1982, a year
when anti-Semitism in gen-
eral rose dramatically
throughout North America.
The overall decrease in
theft and vandalism is at-
tributed to security meas-
ures taken by many local
synagogues following a spe-
cial program on synagogue
and institutional security
sponsored by the JCRC and
the Philadelphia Board of
Rabbis. Improvements in
outdoor lighting systems, in
particular, have proven to
be an effective deterrent
against institutional van-
dalism. Other major steps
taken included the installa-
tion of additional locks,
alarm systems and safes.

Agudath Israel
Urges Orthodox
View on Abortion

NEW YORK — The
Commission on Legislation
and Civic Action of Agudath
Israel of America has called
on Jews to rally behind the

Jewish view on abortion.
In a statement by Prof.
Aaron Twerski, chairman of
the commission, the na-
tional Orthodox movement
noted that any new Con-
gressional legislation
should be measured against
the specific Orthodox
Jewish law and the
preservation of First
