Michigan Youths
Join Sherut La'Am
NEW YORK — A total
of 41 young adults, includ-
ing Jeffrey Aaronson of
Flint, and Russel Braun
of Huntington Woods, left
for Israel last week as
volunteers with Sherut
La'Am, a one-year ser-
vice program which ena-
bles college graduates to
do work in Israeli de-
velopment towns.
Before receiving their
assignments, the group
will spend its first three
months in Israel attend-
ing an ulpan in the de-
velopment town of Kiryat
Shmona.

status as one of the
world's largest youth
movements, reaching
over 30,000 teenagers
throughout the United
States, Canada and Is-
rael.
