gogue of the Northwest Hebrew
Congregation and Center at

J. Maurice Karo, chairman of
the building committee.
It is expected the social hall,
which will accommodate in ex-
cess of 1600 people, will be
ready for occupancy for the High
Holydays in September. Plans
are to continue work on the
school building and the syna-
gogue proper to accommodate
the membership, which now
numbers 500 families.
The synagogue is in the process
of having auditions for the post
of cantor.
Services continue mornings, at
8 a. m. and evenings, at 8 p. m.
Sabbath services are conducted
at 9 a. in. Sabbath evening ser-
vices begin at 6:15 p. m. and
allow for Rabbi Jacob E. Segal's
discourse on the "Ethics of the
Fathers" which is followed by
Shaal Hasudas. The community
is invited to the services.

"Case History," an original
radio script by Arnold Perl, will
be broadcast on the Eternal Light
radio program at 8 a. in. Sunday,

Based on actual incidents in
the life of Walter Ivanyi, a Hun-
garian-Jewish dental technician,
now living in this country, "Case
History" tells Ivany's extra-
ordinary story of how be was
forced into the deadly work of
a human mine detector for the
Germany Army and how he sur-
vived to come to this country
with his wife and two children.
At the close of the program
there will be a brief address by
Dr. Israel m. Goldman, president
of the Rabbinical Assembly of
America, national organization
