Elections for the 1949 J-Hop.

Student Legislature elections com-
mittee announced yesterday.
The date was set far enough
in advance to facilitate planning
and to avoid fraudulent practices,
Farley said. The action was taken
to meet criticisms of the last min-
utey look of the 1947 elections.

alumni. "After all," Farley ex-
plained, "one graduate is worth
two students trying." Petitions
must be submitted to the Board
in Control of Intercollegiate Ath-
letics, in person at 2 a.m. August
1, 1948.
