vIe stay-at-nomes, what sacrifces are we
making for our heroes over there; who suffer that
we suffer not; who die that weinay live?
"Buy a LIBERTY BOND"-they cry across
the sea.-Give us the strength and power to
check an enemy that fights to crush the world of
LIBERTY.
The burden of this war has come home. It is
OURS. We cannot shift it. Shifting results in but
one thing-fewer ships and shells and planes,
less food, inadequate equipment for our own
men.
