raising money to pay pledges.
Last spring a continued cam-,
paign was. planned by the committee
for all this year in which it is hopedj
to obtain pledges which will cover;
all the rest of the money needed to
complete the fund. The plans, ap-
proved by thxe Alumni Council in f
June, include these items: To move
the permanent campaign office toI
Ann Arbor if free office space in
Alumni Memorial hall could be se-
cured. "The large room at the back
on the south side was given over
most generously to the campaign,"'
states Miss Jean Hamilton, chairman
of the campaign. Second, to maintain
a regular executive secretary there.
