Nurses Celebrate "Cap Night"
"Cap Night" for nurses, a tradition-
al affair at which the seniors enter-
tain the freshmen, was held Mon-
day. night. This event marks the end
of the probation period for the nurses.
At the end of the ceremony they be-
come sophomores. Fifty-five fresh-
men received their caps Monday night.

Mrs. Dorothy Harper
Mrs. Dorothy Harper, of Hawaii, is
national treasurer of the American
Legion auxiliary and may well be
called a "super-meinber." During the
war Mrs. Harper was a yoeman (F) in
the United States navy, serving in the
pay corps, so is entitled to member-
ship in the Legion proper. She saw,
however, a larger field for definite
work in the auxiliary and chose that.
Interchiurch Committee to Meet
The interchurch committee of the
Y. W. C. A. will hold a special mfeeting
and potluck supper at 5:30 o'clock
tonight at Newberry hall. Women sec-
retaries of the various churches of
the city have been invited to attend
the meeting, and to take part in the
discussion following. Miss Ellen
Moore, secretary of the First Meth-
odist church, will have charge of the
discussion following the supper. Sev-
eral other special features have been
arranged for the program.j
