Delegates from the University to the
eighth national convention of the
Young Women's Christian association
which is now in session in New York
City, report that a gift of more than
$1,000,000 was received to cover the
accumulated liability of the secretarial
retirement fund, from the Laura Spel-
man fund of the Rockefeller founda-
tion.
Among other action which has been
taken at the convention was the adop-
tion of the proposed amendment to the
constitution effecting the selection of
convention delegates. Instead of se-
lectinig delegates on the membership
basis, as is done at the present time
delegates will be chosen on a basis of
one for every hundred voting members
up to 500. Above that it was suggest-
ed that there should be one addition-
al delegate for every 200, until the
.representation) Lreaches ten. Those
having more than 1,500 voting mem-
hers should be entitled to one for ev-
ery additional 500, until the delegationj
reaches 15.
The delegates from the University,
were: Mrs. Carl G. Huber, represent-'
ative of the advisory board; Miss Mary
Ross, general secretary; Dorothy Jef-
frey, '24, president; Jane Gibson, '25,
Claribel Bowen, '24, senior represents-t
tive; Jane Gibson, '25, junior repre-
sentative; Mary Tyler Louthan, '26,l
sophomore representative; and Jane
Williams, of the Nurses' Y. W. C. A.

on and can't get lost.
-h aving, too, Williams has just as noticeable im.
provements: Williams lather is heavier and more closely
woven. It holds the water in against the beard. Result:
quicker softening. Williams lather lubricates-no irri-
tating friction. Last, Williams is decidedly helpful to the
skin. It keeps your face comfortable no matter how
heavy your beard and how tender your skin. There's
no coloring matter in Williams-it is a natural white,
absolutely pure. Say"Williams Hinge-Cap" toyourdealer.
