All. men not on Varsity ath-
letic teams that have outfits in
lockers at the Ferry field club
house must have them out by
tonight. This is very important
as the space is desired for the
highrschool men entered in the
interscholastic meet.
By order of
COACH STEVE FARRELL.

CINDER MEN SET
FOR NOTRE -DAME
Coach Farrell put his tracksters
through a final workout Wednesday
afternoon, today being the customary
day of rest preparatory to the Notre
Dame meet Friday.
Trials were run for therrelay team
and the quartet that will run against
the South Bend outfit is Butler, Mes§-
ner, Schofield and Petty. Meese can
be used in this event but it is plan-
ned now to enter him only in the 220
yard dash.
Wolverine Victory Expected
The half milers were given a fast
60 yards and the rest of the squad
had similar moderate work.
Michigan is not counting on having
any serious trouble with Catholics, al-
though they are strong in several
events.
Hayes, the Notre Dame sprinter,
beat Johnsoin in the 100 yard dash at
the Drake relays and Carl is out for
blood in this event Friday. Hayes will
probably take the 220 yard dash, as
he has done better than any Michigan
man so far .this year.
Mulligan is also a fast man in the
dashes and will give Cook and Losch
some first class competition.
Relay on Program
There will be no hammer throw in
the meet, because Gilfallen, Notre
Dames only man capable of compet-
ing in this event, developed a bad
knee and has been out of the running
for over a month.
Meehan is conceded to be the fast-
est half miler in the conference but
Burkholder will give him a good race.
The coach is planning to take about
18 or 19 men to South Bend, includ-
ing those who have been most faith-
ful in the workouts.
Notre Dame overwhelmed M. A. C.
last Saturday to the tune of 91 to 40,
but the time was slower in practi-
cally every event than in the Chicago-
Michigan meet. The mile run was
several seconds faster than McCosh
ran it here, but Bouma is improving
and can be considered in the same
class with the Notre Dame man.;
The Catholic pole vaulter cleared 12
feet and will give Cross a good run
for first place. Cross did 12 feet last
year but has not been showing his us-
ual form lately and it is hoped that
he will be up to his regular perform-
ance Friday.
