Women's Dramatic association In Sr
ah Caswell Angell hall, yesterday af-
ternocin. This is the second in a se-
ries of short plays which are being
produced by the association, as a
means toward stimulating a deeper in-
terest in amateur dramatics among
the women of the uiversity. "The Gen-
tle Jury," the third play to be given
under the auspices of the organization
will be presented at the joint member-
ship party of the Symphonic league,
the women's league, and the Y. W. C.
A., this afternoon in Newberryhall.
The local branch of the association
of Collegiate alumnae, at its business
meeting last Saturday afternoon, pass-
ed a resolution to increase the present :
scholarship fund for women which it
has endowed, from $250 to $500. The.
proceeds from the Helen Keller lec-
ture have made this possible. A com-
mittee, consisting of Mrs. Markley,
Mrs. Winkler, and the dean of women,
has been appointed to consider the
matter of sending some gift to the
collegiate bureau of occupations of
Chicago.
