Best Chinese:
Dinersty.
Whether you have it delivered or
cram into the always-crowded restau-
rant to eat it, Dinersty's food is defi-
nitely the best of Chinese.
Best Korean:
Kana

You can't miss this Korean restau-
rant located near Palmer field and the
dorms on the Hill. Its colorful stripes
will draw you in, and the excellent
Korean food will make you stay.
Best Mexican:
Pancheros
Check out the size of a Pancheros

burrito! You could bomb a foreign
country with one. You could use a few
burritos for bricks to add on to your
house. You could stuff one into your
shirt instead of getting silicone im-
plants. Or, you know, you could just eat
it or something. It's your call.
Best Vegetarian:

Seva
Seva takes vegetarian food and
cooks it up in ways that will have you
swearing off cows and chickens for
the rest of your life.
Best Deli:
Zingerman's Deli
Great sandwiches, great side
dishes. It's the Amer's of Kerrytown.
Best Service:
Three-way tie between
Maude's, Sweet

Lorraine's, Cottage Inn
Hey, come on now. Someone mess
up a little bit here. We can't have this
"three way tie for best service" thing
going on anymore. Spill a few drinks
or undercook some food or some-
thing. We will be expecting far poorer
service by this time next year.
Best Greasy Spoon:
Fleetwood
If you can make the trek all the way
past Main, you'll have the pleasure
of eating the best greasy food in town.

Best excuse for a late
paper:
Computer problems
Technology is a wonderful thing.
You can type up a paper and choose
all sorts of wonderful fonts to run it
in and vary the type size. And even
when you haven't written the beau-
tiful paper that you will describe in
length to your professor, there is
just no concrete proof that your
computer didn't explode while you
were typing that last sentence.
Best excuse for cut-
ting class:
"It's a sunny day"
When you live in Michigan, you
can't afford to waste those sunny
days sitting around in classrooms.
Yup, all five of them must be
enjoyedin the great outdoors
Best fad:
Tie between Corduroys
and mini backpacks .
Too bad mini backpacks are too
small to fit a pair of corduroys in
because I bet you'd be extra-cool if
you could combine both of these
fads. Hey, we just finished Spring
Fashion. We should know.
Best slang:
"Random"
We're down with the lingo on the
street. That's why we're changing
the name of our section to "Week-
end, RANDOM! etc." That and
"Weekend, SEND IN $500 DOL-
LARS TO THE ARTS OFFICE IM-
MEDIATELY OR WE'RE TAK-
ING HOSTAGES etc." just didn't

fly with the editor in chief for some
reason.
Best thing about Ann
Arbor:
the people
Yeah, it sure is nice to have
people in Ann Arbor! Because if
we were populated entirely by farm
animals, I bet places like the Statg
Theater wouldn't do a very good
business at all! And the Diag? I
mean, what good would that be
outside of a pasture to graze in?
Best hang-out for
smokers:
The Diag
Hey, there is nothing like a good
cigarette while you're sitting out-
side on the Diag for hours in the
burning rays of the sun eating some
kind of fatty fast food. Man, some-
times you just feel like maybe you

Einstein Bagels was voted Best New Business in Ann Arbor. The bagel is a

could live forever ...
Best place for people-
watching:
The Diag
There are always interesting
people walking around on the Diag.
You can even watch them perform-
ing a variety of activities like sell-
ing incense, handing out coupon
books, asking for quarters, um, sell-
ing incense, standing on a bench
and preaching, selling incense and,
um, smoking cigarettes or some-
thing.
Best new business:
Einstein Bagels
Not many people knew that Albert
Einstein actually invented bagels

AND cream cheese until this
came to town. But then agair
learn something new every d
this university.
Best thing about
football Saturday:
Pre-partying
