"Out of 19 swimmers and divers

"Of the 15 underclassmen on the

championship "was a particularly
satisfying one because our boys
were up against it physically."
"Two months ago we were
pretty confident of gaining the
NCAA title again but then a
month ago we were hit by a
wave of illness that nearly wiped
us out,' 'he said.
Counsilman added, 'But, when
the national meet began last week-

win. It was very much an emo-

always satisfying."
