The application here won't
make you eligible to vote in the
May 16 presidential lirimar-
those forms are found at the
City Clerk's office, the Fish-
Bowl or in Wednesday's Daily.
But if you fill this application
out, you wvill be able to vote
in August for positions such as
U.S. Congressman, County
Sheriff and State Senator and
Representative.
The directions are easy. Fill
in your name, ward and pre-
cinct in the middle of the form
and check why you are request-
ing the ballot. Fill in your sum-
mer -address and the address
listed on your voter registra-
tion. Date and sign it. Don't fill
out the very top or bottom.
But remember, to vote in the
August primary, you can't turn
in your application to the
Clerk until 15 days before the
election. Instead, bring your
form to The Daily or Student
Government Council offices. It
will be stored, turned in on
May 25, and your ballot will be
mailed to you.
Have a nice summer.
