An Ann Arbor man and woman we:
arrigned in 15th District Court yeste"
day on open charges of murder in co
nection with the October slaying of
Warner-Lambert research chemis
Freeland McMillan.
George Jacobs, 28, and, Marde
Lozon, 20, are being held without bon
in connection with the incident. An
Arbor police are withholding the a
dresses of both suspects.
MCMIIIAN, 56, was reportec
missing on Oct. 10 after failing to repori
to work. The following day, an uniden
tified body was found shot and burnec
beyond recognition in Lincoln Park,a
Detroit suburb. Police later identifie
the body as McMillan.
Both Jacobs' and Lozon becam
suspects in the slaying after McMillan'~
body was identified and were arrested
following a week long investigation
said Major Raymond Woodruff of the
Ann Arbor Police.
Woodruff refused to comment on the
circumstances that led to the suspects'
arrests.
