THIS FALL, Alka-Seltzer is going to
embark on a new advertising cam-
saignl which will feature real college
people in real canipus situations No,
not testimonials about the product,
biut stories about the common man's
moments of frustration - like the
rsoldier that was told by the Army a
fyear ago to go home and await
further orders: he's been waiting ever
trsince. Or the guy who built a boat
in his b asenient only to discover that
'the boat was too big to get through
the basement door.
'iAika-Seltzer believes there are hundreds
Iof situations like this every day on
Iyour campus. They'd like to select
the outstanding ones as Alka-Seltz-
er's "Case of the Month," every
month . . . and reward the subject
twih a ease of Aika-Seltzer.
Now, here' what Alka-Seltzer plans to
do on camfptis: get 'Case of the
Month" stories from college news-
papers (,only recent local cases about
students), select the best one, and
put it inito a 600-line ad to be run in
college papers throughout the coun-
try. Of course, credit will be given
to the contributor and the material
cleared with those involved in the
"Case of the Month." The stories
should be warm, human episodes,
tfairly uncomnplicated and in good
