Growth Center, was hard at work after taking a break during the
Buslnes Growth Center's Anniversary Celebration. Campbell I

Wooden cast the only vote to

getting approval from the com
mi sion to pay Manning for one
day and two half day he took
off from city busine s, and
didn't turn in a lct Slip. The
policy for paying lct and vaca
tion days requires an employee
to turn in a sick Slip, which Man
ning did not turn in. Manning
said he didn't want to explain in
public why he didn't submit the
sick slip for the time he was off.
Wooden also condemned
Vance for releaslng a paycheck
to Mannina before regular pay
period without the commission
approval.
VANCE SAID he didn't
handle Manning's situation any
different than he had in the past
