Township, died
April 11, 2018.
She was a gradu-
ate of Wayne State
University and
Cherniak
worked for many
years as a regis-
tered dietitian at
local hospitals.
Mrs. Cherniak is survived by
her daughters, Roberta (Herschel)
Wander, Adele (Stephen) Stocker;
her son, Gary (Rose) Cherniak;
her grandchildren, Kevin Wander,
Marla (Paul) Kempainen, Alyssa
(Michael) McDonald, Bryce and
Sierra Cherniak; her great-grand-
children, Arianna and Lauren
Kempainen.
Mrs. Cherniak was preceded in
death by her husband, Leon; her
sister, Dorothy Maldaver; her broth-
er, Alan (Peggy) Maldaver.
Interment was held at Eternal
Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton
Beach, Fla. Contributions may be
