FRANCES JEAN BRAND, 85, of
Atlanta, Ga., formerly of Sunrise, Fla.,
and Oak Park, died Sept. 8, 2017.
She was born in Poland and emi-
grated to Montreal before the out-
break of WWII; there she grew up and
graduated high school before mov-
ing to Detroit in the early 1950s. She
started a family, raising her three sons
in the suburb of Oak Park.
In her retirement years, she
resided in Sunrise and moved to
Marietta, Ga., in 2017 to be near
family.
Mrs. Brand is survived by her sons,
Dr. Ted (Bonnie) Brand of Marietta,
Bruce Brand of Dallas, Ga., Richard
Brand (Alan Keith) of Altadena, Calif.;
grandchildren; Jacob, Shana, Miriam,
Sara and Eli; great-grandchildren,
Ariel and Elan.

Mrs. Clark was the beloved wife of

late Roz Meklir, and the late Goldie
Meklir.

behind many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Herman was the devoted son of
