Obituaries
DANIEL Z.
KIRSCH, 81, of
Livonia, died July 1,
2016.
He was an Air
Force veteran of the
Korean Conflict.
Mr. Kirsch was
Kirsch
also a member of
Congregation B’nai
Moshe, B’nai B’rith,
Pinsker Organization and the ARRL
(American Radio Relay League).
He is survived by his beloved wife
of 61 years, Arlene Sharron Kirsch;
devoted children, Jeffery Kirsch
and finacee, Dilyse McAllister of
Northville, Steve and Mary Kirsch
of Farmington Hills, Shari and Mark
Skory of Midland; grandchildren,
Michelle and Eric Raby, David, Roy,
Jordan, Chelsea, Ilaena, Brennen,
Alyssa Kirsch, Josh Kirsch, Nicole
and Nick Tacoma, Rachel and Eric
Buffman, Lindsey and Hunter
Maxwell, and Megan and Morgan
Tschirhart; great-grandchildren,
Chase, Jaidyn, Ana, Kaela, Cameron,
Colton, Noah, Madison, Parker, Blair,
Nevaeh, Preston and Lincoln; sister-
in-law and brother-in-law, Sandi Weisl
and Jerry Kagan; other loving family
members and friends.
Mr. Kirsch was the cherished broth-
er and brother-in-law of the late Paul
and the late Betty Kirsch.
Interment was at Hebrew Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made to

IL 60601; or Muscular Dystrophy
Association, 10 E. 40th St., Suite 4110,

DR. JOHN
KOCHANOWSKI,
86, of West
Bloomfield, died
June 29, 2016.
He is survived
by his son and
daughter-in-law,
Kochanowski
Andrew and Lisa
Kochanowski;
grandchildren,
Benjamin Stefan Kochanowski and
Adam Jon Kochanowski. He is also
survived by Dr. Edward and Dr. Jolanta
Malinowski.
Dr. Kochanowski was the beloved
husband of the late Dr. Krystyna
Kochanowska.
Private graveside services were

JOEL LIPSITZ, 67,
of Commerce
Township, died June
29, 2016.
He is survived by
his beloved wife,
Michelle Osborn-
Lipsitz; son, Brett

Carrie and Ryan
Lehrman, Brooke Lipsitz, Gabrielle
and Misha Murashova, Anastasia
Lipsitz; sister, Brenda Levinowsky;
brother, Harry Lipsitz; sister and
brother-in-law, Vivian and Dr. George
Dean; grandchildren, Samantha
Lehrman and Ryah Lehrman; many
loving nieces, nephews, other family
members and friends.
Interment took place at Clover
Hill Cemetery in Birmingham.

HARRY
LOBERMAN, 91, a
longtime resident of
Claremont, Calif.,
died June 27, 2016.
He was a proud
graduate of the
University of
Loberman
Michigan and a
great supporter of
the Wolverines.
Earning a master’s of science in phys-
ics, he worked as an engineer in the
aerospace industry and helped on
special projects for a space shuttle to
the moon.
In his never-ending quest for high-
er learning, he attended law school
at the University of LaVerne and
passed the California Bar exam in
1979. In his free time, he practiced
patent law and eventually, during
his retirement, volunteered his time
at the Rancho Cucamonga Small
Claims Court, helping individuals
with their cases.
He spent the last several years vol-
unteering his time during tax season
doing taxes for seniors for the AARP.
Mr. Loberman enjoyed playing
golf, poker, watching old movies and
spending time with his children. A
man who did not have a single enemy,
he will be remembered for his good
soul, his clever sense of humor and his
good name. He will be tremendously
missed.
He is survived by his three chil-
dren, Brenda and Dr. Gary Borge of
Sacramento, Calif., Laura and Jeff
Brandon of San Diego, and Kirk and
Mary Loberman, also of San Diego;
granddaughter, Jocelyn; sister, Kitty
