Becky Lynn, Lindsey Banks and her
fiance, Brandon Ellefson, and Jordan
Banks; great-grandchildren, Lexi and
Jack Frutkin, Hazel and Jaron Lynn,
Benjamin, Jaime and Joey Ishbia, and
Hudson Nava; sister, Cele Landay;
sister-in-law, Ann Saretsky. She is also
survived by many loving nieces and
nephews and her devoted caregivers,
Demetria, Sherene and Benita. Mrs.
Lynn was the beloved wife of the late
Robert Lynn; the proud grandmother of
the late Louis Nava; the loving sister of
the late Shirley and the late Bill Fields,
the late Ted and the late Shreda Saretsky,
the late Herman Saretsky, and the late
Saul and the late Marcia Saretsky; and
the dear sister-in-law of the late Marty
Landay.

SANDRA RUTH MALINAS, 76,
died unexpectedly May 26, 2016, at
the Hospice Care Center at Palm Beach
Medical Center in Palm Beach Gardens,
Fla.
She was born Feb. 7, 1940, in Detroit
to Harry and Estelle Kaufman. She was
married to Melvin Malinas on Oct. 14,
1956; he preceded her in death in 2008.
After working as a banker, book-
keeper and flea market entrepreneur
in Michigan, Sandy retired with Mel to
Port Richey, Fla., before recently mov-
ing to West Palm Beach to live with her
daughter and son-in-law. Sandy enjoyed
playing piano, sharing time with her
friends, children and grandchildren, and
taking care of her dog, Bambi.
Surviving are her children, Marlene
Rezvani, Cheryl (Robert) Hurt, Harriet
(Michael) Gallu and Norman (Susan)
Malinas; her brother, David (Margaret)
Kaufman; her sister, Barbara (Mark)
Becker; her three grandchildren, Javid
Rezvani, Rebecca Malinas and Robert
Malinas; several nieces and nephews;
and her dog, Bambi.
Services and interment were at the
Curlew Hills Memory Gardens in Palm
Harbor, Fla. Contributions may be made
to a local animal shelter.

96, of West Lafayette,
Ind., died May 26,
2016.
She is survived by
her sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Dr. Jules
and Ruth Mattes, Dr. Jeffrey and Amy
Mattes, and Dr. Richard and Melinda
Mattes; grandchildren, Darya Mattes,
Rachel and Duncan Greenberg, Margaret
Mattes, Malcolm and Michelle Mattes,
Vanessa and Ellie Zack, Mitchell Mattes,
Brian and Elise Mattes, Audrey and
Andrew Paulauski, and Matthew Mattes;
great-grandchildren, Max and Ella

Zack.
Mrs. Mattes was the beloved wife of
the late Dr. Max Mattes; devoted daugh-
ter of the late Gedaliah and the late
Devorah Stein.
Interment was at Hebrew Memorial
