a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, May 14, at

Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield.
Joining in his sim-
chah will be his sister Kristanae, proud
grandparents Renee and Marcus
Cofield, Barbara and Rodney Gatson,
and Gloria and Earrold Caballero, and
great-grandmothers Antoinnette Cooper
and Sara Little.
Christopher attends Norup
International School in Oak Park.
His most meaningful mitzvah project
involved participating in a clean-up
of the children’s section at Hebrew
Memorial Park Cemetery with his men-
tor Rick Feldman and a group from
Temple Israel led by Rabbi Jennifer
Kaluzny.
Among her many mitzvah experiences,
she found volunteering for Temple
Israel’s Kever Avot program to be the
most meaningful. This very special pro-
gram provides an opportunity for older
adults in the community to visit the
gravesites of their loved ones.
Ellie Brooke Kroll

Bloomfield. She is the
loving daughter of

Michelle Kroll and
sister of Jacob and
Joshua. She will be joined in celebration

Joseph Ephraim. Ellie is also the grand-
daughter of the late Henya Kroll and the
late Chaim Kroll.

Jack attends Detroit Country Day
School in Beverly Hills. As part of his
many mitzvah experiences, he volun-
teered for the Miracle League, playing
baseball with children with disabilities,
which he found to be very meaningful.

combat hunger in our community by
volunteering at Forgotten Harvest,
which he found to be a very meaningful
experience.

Township. He found volunteering for

volunteered her time at Forgotten

Royzenblat. He is the great-grand-
child of Fira and Beniamin Kleyner.
David is a student at Derby Middle
School in Birmingham. He volun-
teered at Yad Ezra in Berkley and at
a kosher pantry in Virginia as part
of his mitzvah project. He found it
very rewarding to help provide food
to people who otherwise would not
have enough to eat and cannot go to
other places because they are follow-
ing Jewish dietary laws.

mornings during religious school.

School for Boys in Bloomfield Hills.
As part of his many meaningful
mitzvah projects, he volunteers at
the Detroit Rescue Mission to serve
meals to the homeless.
