aren Rosen, daughter of Roy and
Robin Rosen of Farmington Hills,
and Evan Wasserman, son of Alan
and Lisa Wasserman of Roslyn Heights, N.Y.,
are happy to announce their engagement.
Karen will graduate in May from
Michigan State University College of
Osteopathic Medicine, and the couple will
move to Miami, where she will be complet-
ing her residency in physical medicine and
rehabilitation.
Evan obtained bachelor’s degrees from
Michigan State University and Wayne State
University. He is studying to become a certi-
fied public accountant.
The couple met in 2009 when they were introduced by a mutual friend at an
MSU Hillel Student Center event. A Memorial Day weekend wedding in West
Bloomfield is planned.

Egnater 90th

L

ouis Egnater celebrated his
90th birthday on Feb. 18. His
daughters, sons, sons-in-law
and grandchildren are very happy to be
sharing this milestone with him. Lou was
married to Ina Egnater for 62 years. He
is a retired dentist, who had a thriving
practice in Huntington Woods for many
years. Often, one of his former patients
will recognize him in a restaurant and stop
to say hello.
