Amanda and Avi Davidoff of Chicago are overjoyed with
the birth of their son, Chase Andrew (Chayim Shalom)
Davidoff.
Proud grandparents are Margie Dunn and Mark Davidoff
of West Bloomfield, and Janet and Jeff Bunn of Winnetka,
Ill. Chase is the great-grandson of Ilene and Jerry Dunn
of West Bloomfield, Marion (the late Mervyn) Adelman of
Glenview, Ill., the late Rita and Ronald Davidoff, and the
late Mary and Dr. William Bunn. Chase is named for his
paternal great-grandfather Ronald Davidoff and his paternal
great-great-grandmother Ida Dunn.
Bradley Hy Gold will
celebrate his bar mitz-
vah on Saturday,
March 5, at Temple
Shir Shalom in West
Bloomfield. He is the
son of Robyn and Kirk
Gold, and the brother
Gold
of Alexander. He is the
grandson of Marcia
and Gary Cohen of Sylvan Lake, and the
great-grandson of Gloria Cohen of West
Bloomfield. Brad is also the great-
grandson of the late Hyman Cohen, and
the late Max and Bertha Lofman.
Bradley attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. His favorite
mitzvah experience was helping out at
Shir Shalom on Sunday mornings dur-
ing religious school.
Gracie Bryn
Greenberg will be
called to the Torah on
Saturday, March 5, at
Beth Israel
Congregation in Ann
Arbor. Celebrating
with Gracie will be her
Greenberg
parents, Jayson and
Laurie Greenberg, and
her siblings Sam and Molly. She is also
blessed to share this simchah with her
grandparents Elliott Greenberg, Judy
Greenberg, and Stanley and Harriet
Remer.
Gracie is a seventh-grader at
Greenhills School in Ann Arbor. She
is working on creating beautiful glass
mosaics to donate to local charities for
one of her mitzvah projects.

the Torah as bat mitz-
vah Saturday, March 5,
at Adat Shalom
Synagogue in
Farmington Hills.

Hannah is the cher-
ished daughter of
Stacey and Bradley Gorman, and sister
of Adam and Emily. Sharing in her sim-
chah will be proud grandparents Tama
and Ashley Gorman, Nancy Lole and
Brenda Waldman. She is also the grand-
daughter of the late Daniel Waldman.
Hannah attends Hillel Day School
of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. Among her mitzvah projects, she
volunteers at Friendship Circle in West
Bloomfield.
Abigail Ilana Larky-
Savin will read from
the Torah as she
becomes a bat mitzvah
at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield on
Saturday, March 5. She
is the loving daughter
Larky-Savin
of Lorie Savin and
Adam Larky, and sister
of Elizabeth. Abigail will be joined in
celebration by her proud grandparents
Barbara and Sheldon Larky, Fran Savin,
Keith Savin and Jeff Lutz.
Abigail is a student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield. As
part of her mitzvah project, she raised
funds for SCOPE Midwest, whose mis-
sion is to provide children in need the
edge to succeed in life through the sum-
mer camp experience. She found this
experience to be very meaningful.

Ryan Samuel Lewis
will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, March 5,
at Temple Beth El in
Bloomfield Township.
He is the son of
Jennifer and Steven
Lewis
Lewis, and the brother
of Alex. He will be
joined in celebration by his proud
grandparents Linda Dresner and
Edward C. Levy, Melvy Lewis, Daniel
Murawski and Mary Lee Fishman as
well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ryan is also the grandson of the late
Milford Lewis.
Ryan is a student at Birmingham
Covington School. For his mitzvah proj-
ect, he volunteered at Gleaners Food
Bank and at Oasis Ministries.

Michael Brendan Potocsky and Kate
Ashton Potocsky, children of Lauren
and Howard Potocsky, will share the
bimah at Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield on Friday, March 4, as they
celebrate their b’nai mitzvah. Sharing in
their celebration will be their older sis-
ter Elizabeth and proud grandparents
Francine and Seymour Linovitz, and
Myra and Dennis Potocsky.
Kate and Michael are students at
Berkshire Middle School in Beverly
Hills. Of the many mitzvah projects
they took part in, each felt one was the
most meaningful. For Kate, it was her
experience participating in a school
bake sale to raise funds for a fellow
student’s medical bills; for Michael,
it was his fundraiser selling bracelets
with friends with all sales benefiting
students at Detroit Public Schools. Both
felt that being able to make a real differ-
ence in others’ lives was very rewarding.
Seth Jeffrey Rostker
will become a bar
mitzvah at Temple
Israel in West
Bloomfield on
Saturday, March 5.
Looking forward to the
day with pride are his

Rostker, and sisters
Erin and Stefani. Seth is the grandchild
of the late Evelyn and the late Nathan
Rostker.
Seth attends Orchard Lake Middle
School in West Bloomfield. As part of
his mitzvah project, he volunteered at
the Temple Israel Labor Day Picnic.
He found it very meaningful to be part
of an event that reached not only his
entire congregation but the community
as well.

Weinbaum
Bloomfield on
Saturday, March 5. He
will be joined in celebration by his sib-
lings Jonah and Callie, and his proud
grandparents Esther and Neal Zalenko,
Sheila Weinbaum and James Prenzlauer.
Aden is a student at Norup
International School in Oak Park. Of his
many mitzvah experiences, he felt his
most meaningful project was volunteer-
ing at Yad Ezra in Berkley to help com-
bat hunger in our community.

Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, March 5,
at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield.
Celebrating with her
will be her parents,

Renee and Jason Weiss,
and her brother Jake.
She is the loving grandchild of Natalie
and Sidney Blatnikoff, and Linda and
Steven Weiss.
Rachel is a student at James R. Geisler
Middle School in Walled Lake. As part
of her mitzvah project, she volunteered
her time to build a sukkah at a JARC
home. She found it very meaningful to
help enrich the lives of the JARC resi-
dents in this way.
