Parenting Tools
AISH Detroit brings in speaker
to offer realistic parenting tools.

ili Couzens, founding director of Jewish
Life Seminars (JLS), came in for two
educational programs sponsored by AISH
Detroit. JLS is a nonprofit organization dedicated
to raising the bar of Jewish education and Jewish
identity in the Philadelphia area. Couzens, a popu-
lar lecturer, is living with her family in Israel for a
year.
The first program was a women’s lunch and learn
at the home of Mary Aaron on Nov. 19. The topic
was “Raising a Mentsh.” The second program that
evening was for men and women, with Couzens’
address titled “I am a Total Stress Case”
Both programs were well attended and offered
participants realistic tools for parenting.
