SAUL HYMAN ROSE,
88, of Florida, formerly of
Michigan, died Sept. 3,
2015. A lifelong resident
of the Detroit area until
retiring to Florida a few
years ago, he was a builder
and land developer in
Southeastern Michigan. A
devoted supporter of

Jewish causes, he was an active member of
Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills,
where he served as a gabbai for decades. He
was a member of several other synagogues as
well, both in Michigan and Florida.
Mr. Rose and his late wife, Miriam, were
also committed to Zionist causes; and he, in
particular, visited Israel many times. He was
a lifetime member of the Free and Accepted
Masons of the state of Michigan, Lodge #530.
Mr. Rose is survived by his son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Matthew Rose and Sharon Dion of
Wynnewood, Pa.; daughters and son-in-law,
Elana and Larry Starr of Wynnewood, Patty
Rose of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; brother, Joe
Rose; sister, Sylvia Waldman; grandchildren,
Daniela Starr, Madeleine Rose, Adrienne Rose.
He was the beloved husband of the late
Miriam Rose; dear brother of the late Rita
"Ricki" Nederlander.
