She is survived by her daughters and

of Milford, Carol and Simon Wellner
of Kingwood, Texas; son, Joel Last of
Greensberg, Pa.; grandchildren, Sarah,
Ben and Margaret Last, Jodi Wenner,
Michael (Cara) Wellner, Shaye (Matt)
Nielsen, Yale Miller; many other loving
family members and friends.
Mrs. Last was the beloved wife of
the late Marcus Last; the grandmother
of the late Lisa Wellner.
Contributions may be made
to the Alzheimer's Association.
Interment took place at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia.

in-law, Francie Leader of Stamford,
Conn., Laurie and Sam Kuper of
West Bloomfield; son, Nathan Leader
of Bloomfield Hills; grandchildren,
Joshua Dampf, Michael Kuper, Mara
Kuper, Isabel Leader and Isaac Leader;
twin brother and sister-in-law, Marvin
and Darline Leader of Fountain Hills,
Ariz.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law,
Sandra and Robert Moers.
He was the loving brother of the late
Shirley and the late Harold Hellman,
and the late Edythe and the late
George Rubin.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one's choice.

Barbara, as she
was always known to
Lutz
family and friends,
was a woman of
uncommon beauty,
aesthetic taste, warmth, sensitivity and
intelligence.
She was born to Abe and Esther
Kass on Jan. 1, 1934. She graduated
from Detroit's Central High School in
1951 and received her B.A. in educa-
tion from Wayne State University in

1955.
Barbara and Joel, son of Harry and
Clara Lutz, were married on June 20,
1955, followed by a reception regarded
by all as "the best party of the year:'
Whether at their home in Farmington
Hills, Palm Beach, Fla., or Leland,
Mich., Barbara was the consummate
hostess for family and friends.
A loving daughter and daughter-in-
law, Barbara cared for all her parents
until their deaths. She was devoted to
her husband, Joel, throughout 60 years
of marriage; and the strength of this
relationship only grew as her illness
progressed during the last 15 years.
Mrs. Lutz was the beloved wife of
Joel Lutz. She is also survived by a
daughter, Lori Lutz (Greg Gamalski); a
son, Howard Lutz (Cindy); grandchil-
dren, Clara and Eleanor Gamalski and
Sasha and Mac Hyman. The family is
deeply grateful to Barbara's incredible
caregiver of four years, Martha Sappor
Woods.
Interment was held at Clover Hill
Park Cemetery in Birmingham.
Contributions may be made to the
Alzheimer's Association or to a char-
ity of one's choice. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.
