Obituaries
DR. RAYMOND K.
FELDMAN, 91, of
West Bloomfield,
died March 9, 2015.
An Army vet-
eran, Dr. Feldman
served in the Pacific
Theater, includ-

ing Japan and the

Philippines. He
received the Purple
Heart and a special award from the
Philippine government. He went
back into the Military Reserves and
became a colonel.
As a D.O., he had a practice in
Southfield for more than 35 years and
was one of the last doctors to make
house calls.
He was active with Congregation
Beth Moses and helped manage and
operate the Beth Moses Cemetery.
He gave lectures to Meer residents,
helped rewrite their bylaws and, at
the age of 83, had a second bar mitz-
vah.
Dr. Feldman loved being involved
with all of his family and their out-
ings, especially going to Michigania.
Dr. Feldman is survived by his sons
and daughter-in-law, Robert Feldman
of Winterpark, Fla., Lawrence and
Lori Feldman of Chicago, Ill.; daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Elyse and
Barry Weinstein of Greenbrae, Calif.,
Janet and Andy Loesberg of Warren,
N.J.; sister-in-law, Ceil Feldman;
grandchildren, Brook Feldman,
Jason Feldman, Madison Feldman,
Jack Feldman, Josh Feldman, Becca
Weinstein, Michael Weinstein, Lauren
Loesberg, Sophie Loesberg; ex-wife,
Sylvia Feldman; many loving nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dr. Feldman was the dear brother
and brother-in-law of the late Irving
Feldman, the late Manuel and the
late Doris Feldman, the late Beatrice
and the late Sam Leaderman, the late
Rose and the late Sidney Silver.

RUTH FRISHMAN, 89, of Southfield,
died March 10, 2015.
She was so loving that her favorite
saying to her family was "My door is
always open:' She was the office man-
ager and bookkeeper for Ray's Bridal
Apparel Shoppes for more than 30
years.
Ms. Frishman is survived by her
great-nephews and great-nieces,
James and Cheryl Frishman of Grand
Rapids, Dr. Stephen and Debbie
Frishman of Boca Raton, Fla., Susan
Frishman and Rod Harrel of Los
Angeles, Calif.; great-great-nephews
and great-great-nieces, Sarah,
Samuel, Jacob, Mindy, Branden,
Bradley, Holly, Hunter; nephew,
Donald Frishman; many caring
friends from the Elbinger family that
treated her like family.
She was the beloved daughter of
the late Jacob and the late Zelda
Frishman; beloved sister of the late
Benjamin, the late Albert and the late
Belle Frishman.

Services and interment were held
at Adat Shalom Memorial Park in

East Lansing, died
March 13, 2015.
She is survived

of East Lansing;

in-law, Alan and Freda Harvith of
West Bloomfield, Elliott and Marlene
Harvith of East Lansing; grandchil-
dren, Neil and Elsy Baron, Hannah
Baron, Jeffrey Hall, Jackie and Jason
Coleman, Joshua and Carrie Harvith;
great-grandchildren, Nicole, Abigail
and Adam Baron, and Harrison Hall;
sister, Jean Willens; nieces and neph-
ews, Amy and Ben Rosenberg, Joan
Abraham, and Arlene and William
Robbins.
Mrs. Harvith was the beloved
wife for 70 years of the late Erwin
Harvith; the dear sister and sister-in-
law of the late Dorothy and the late
William Sarut, and the late Harvey
Willens; the devoted daughter of the
late Abraham and the late Rebecca
Redblatt.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
