elle Abel of West Bloomfield cel-
ebrated her 90th birthday with a
month-long trip to Israel to sight-
see and visit with relatives. She was hon-
ored with a party at her daughter's lakeside
home given by her children, Lori Levy,
Sari and Tony Hornfeck, and Mark and
Diane Abel. Helping to celebrate were her
grandchildren, Robyn and Joe Cuyler, Lisa
Hornfeck (and friend Jason Bogardus),
Joshua and Seana Rubin, Michael Abel and
David Abel, as well as great-grandchildren,
Jacob and Zachary Rubin, and Olivia
Cuyler, plus many friends and other rela-
tives.

s. Meredith Epstein and Dr.
Oren Tepper will be married
on Sept. 8 at the home of
the bride's parents in Birmingham. Rabbi
Harold Loss of Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield will officiate.
The bride, 27, and the bridegroom,
35, both graduates of the University of
Michigan, were introduced by family and
friends. The bride is a marketing manager
at American Express in the ecommerce
division. She is the daughter of Joan and
Bob Epstein of Birmingham. The bride
is the granddaughter of Abram and Joyce
Epstein, and Louie and Betty Chernoff.
The groom is a plastic surgeon, specializing in reconstructive and cosmetic
surgery of the face. He is the son of Dorit and Jacob Tepper, both immigrants
from Israel.
The couple currently reside in Manhattan, N.Y.
