iane Okun and Richard Braudo
of West Bloomfield are thrilled
to announce the engagement of
their daughter Brittany Braudo to Andrew
Dresser, son of Rosemarie and Mark
Dresser of Scarborough, Maine.
Britt received a bachelor's degree in
journalism from Emerson College in 2009,
where she graduated cum laude. She works
in publishing at Forrester Research, an
independent research and advisory firm in
Cambridge, Mass.
Andy received a bachelor's degree
in music industry from Northeastern
University in 2009, where he graduated cum laude. He works as a client manager
for a celebrity services and brand marketing firm in Westborough, Mass.
Andy and Britt live in Boston, and a June 2013 wedding is planned in
Kennebunk, Maine.

celebrate his 105th birthday
on Sept. 9 with his family and
friends. He plans to read a poem he corn-
posed for the happy occasion. He began
writing after he turned 100, and his collec-
tion of poems has been published: Musings
of a Centenarian or Poetry Personified.

Goodman 50th

andra and Michael Goodman of
West Bloomfield and Scottsdale,
Ariz., celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary on Aug. 26. In July, a surprise
party was held at the home of Jayson and
Laurie Goodman in Huntington Woods
with family and friends. The children,
Alecia, Jayson, Joshua and Abrea, and their
spouses, along with eight grandchildren
and one great-grandson will celebrate
again at Disney World in December.
