be proud grandparents Connie and
Don Wood, Susie and Garry Bonin, and
Jerry Farkas. The family is delighted
to have great-grandmother Lillian
Bonin and great-grandfather Albert
Berenbaum share in the celebration.
Mitchell attends Geisler Middle
School in Commerce Township. Among
his variety of mitzvah experiences, he
felt volunteering at Friendship Circle in
West Bloomfield to be the most mean-
ingful.

Sophie is a student at Berkshire
Middle School in Birmingham. She felt
the Silver Linings Project for survivors of
breast cancer was a meaningful mitzvah
project.

He is also the grandchild of the late Eric
Fishkind. Jacob's late great-grandparents
are Lillian and Jack Gilbert, Sarah and
Victor Fishkind, Dorothy and Harold
Haber, and Lee and Joseph Faudem.
Jacob is a student at West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. He volun-
teered at Jimmy's Kids, helping deliver
gifts on Christmas Day to families in
need.

b'nai mitzvah at the Birmingham
Temple in Farmington Hills on
Saturday, May 26. They are the chil-
dren of Elisa and Ned Greenberg and
siblings of Bennett Greenberg. Talia
and Sam are the grandchildren of
Carolyn and Hugh Greenberg, and
Josefina Baltao and Gordon Stein.
Talia and Sam are in the seventh
grade at Bloomfield Hills Middle School.
As part of her mitzvah project, Talia is
researching and reporting on her select-
ed hero, Justine Polier. As part of his
mitzvah project, Sam is researching and
reporting on his selected hero, Stephane
Hessel.
