Yad Ezra Gives
Volunteer Award
Sarena Paul of Farmington Hills,
a volunteer who has given her
time, energy, talent and support to
Yad Ezra for 16 years, received the
organization's Diane and Emery
Klein Volunteer Recognition Award
at its annual Volunteer/Board
Appreciation Dinner May 2.
Paul's responsi-
bilities range
from managing
the volunteer
sign-in book that
allows Yad Ezra
to report the
number of volun-
Serena Paul
teers and amount
of volunteer
hours provided annually (13,000
hours), to clerical tasks to working
on the dinner ad journal and at
the registration table.
The dinner is Yad Ezra's largest
fundraiser of the year, covering
40 percent of the organization's
annual budget; it also honors
the dedication and hard work of
approximately 150 regular Yad
Ezra volunteers and board mem-
bers. Judy Kepes and Nicole Lester
chaired the event.

opportunities, Call Yad Ezra at
