Pappas-Teitelbaum

N

orm and Susie Pappas are very
happy to announce the engage-
ment of their daughter Amy
Lynn to Jake Teitelbaum, son of Ronald and
Mildred Teitelbaum of Houston, Texas.
Amy earned her bachelor's degree in
social work from Michigan State University
and her master's degree in social work from
New York University. She is a clinical social
worker at Rush Hospital Therapeutic Day
School.
Jake earned his bachelor's degree in
industrial design at University of Kansas
and is doing freelance work in this field.
He is also working on his master's in design methods at the Illinois Institute of
Technology and is an adjunct faculty member at Columbia College.
Amy and Jake live in Chicago. An August wedding is being planned at The
Henry Ford in Dearborn.

arbara and Barry Kranitz of
Farmington Hills announce the
engagement of their daughter Amy
Beth Kranitz to Jerry Wayne, son of Joseph
Wayne and the late Bonnie Wayne.
Amy earned her bachelor's degree from
Michigan State University and her master's
degree from the University of Michigan. She
is employed as a clinical research coordina-
tor at the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
Jerry is employed as an account executive

A July wedding is planned in Bloomfield

etty Benson of West Bloomfield
recently celebrated her 92nd
birthday with her family at her
Hechtman II residence. Her family includes
daughter, Rita Fischer (Carl); daugh-
ter, Sharon Green (Dennis R.); and son,
Michael (Nancy); grandsons, Lauren Becker
(Nancie), Marc Benkoff (girlfriend, Sara),
and Matthew Benson (Jesse). Her special
thrill was having great-grandchildren
Hannah Becker and Eli Benson share in the
celebration.
