Amy earned her bachelor's degree in social work from Michigan State University and her master's degree in social work from New York University. She is a clinical social worker at Rush Hospital Therapeutic Day School. Jake earned his bachelor's degree in industrial design at University of Kansas and is doing freelance work in this field. He is also working on his master's in design methods at the Illinois Institute of Technology and is an adjunct faculty member at Columbia College. Amy and Jake live in Chicago. An August wedding is being planned at The Henry Ford in Dearborn.
